Non-profit organizations rely on the generosity of others in order to stay afloat. Non-profits have all of the same expenses as a for-profit organization and very little of the revenue.
That’s why successful non-profit organizations get creative when it comes to fundraising. Today, more and more non-profits are using LeapTee to launch t-shirt fundraisers in support of various goals.
Whether raising funds for an animal shelter or helping children in third world countries, LeapTee aims to maximize the effectiveness of your non-profit organization’s fundraising campaign.
Here are just a few of the unique advantages that LeapTee provides to your non-profit organization:
An easy online setup process
Running a non-profit organization takes time and money. Spending a week creating a fundraising campaign isn’t an effective use of your time. That fundraising campaign may or may not succeed, and all of the hard work and long hours your employees put into that fundraiser may go to waste.
That’s why LeapTee is committed to making the setup process as easy as possible. We give you the ability to create every step of your fundraiser online. In fact, you never even have to leave your office chair. You can begin the setup process by clicking here.
1,000’s of graphics, fonts and design elements to use for free
Your fundraiser is going to have a much higher chance of success if you’re selling a t-shirt that people actually want to buy. We know that you’re probably not a professional t-shirt designer, which is why we created our easy-to-use online t-shirt design tool. You can also view a selection of our current and previous designs.
Famously soft t-shirts
Charity t-shirts aren’t usually comfortable. But people wear these t-shirts because they’re in support of a good cause. But let’s be honest: people are more likely to wear a t-shirt if it’s comfortable and if it looks good. That’s why we made sure our t-shirts are famously comfortable and designed by YOU. They’re incredibly soft to the touch and your contributors will love them. Forget everything you thought you knew about scratchy, uncomfortable charity t-shirts!
No risk for your non-profit
Non-profits can’t afford to launch a fundraiser and have it fail. Money is always tight at a non-profit and most operate under strict budget constraints. LeapTee understands that and wants to limit the risk of your fundraiser.
How do we do that? By making your fundraiser completely risk-free! Here’s how it works: you setup your fundraiser for free with the help of our t-shirt designer tool. You set the selling prices of your fundraiser’s shirts. Once your fund ends (and you’ve sold the minimum quantity needed to print), we produce the shirts and send them to your supporters. If you don’t reach the minimum sales needed to print, then your t-shirts are never produced. There’s no need to buy inventory in advance or pay any deposits, fees, or extra charges. The end result is that your non-profit enjoys a risk-free fundraising experience.
You receive all t-shirt donations
You set the price of the t-shirt and you receive all of the proceeds from t-shirt sales. LeapTee charges an 8% fee to all non-t-shirt donations. That means your fundraiser is able to raise as much funding as possible. All money is sent directly to you at the end of the fundraising campaign. More money for your non-profit means more money for your charitable activities.
We print the t-shirts and ship them directly to your contributors
Other t-shirt fundraising campaigns require you to buy dozens of t-shirts and distribute those t-shirts to your supporters. This can take hours of time, which means your non-profit has less time to spend helping others.
That’s why we want to take a load off your back: after printing out all of the t-shirts for your fundraiser, we ship those t-shirts directly to your contributors. You don’t have to do anything. It’s as easy as that!
LeapTee has helped launch fundraising campaigns for all different types of non-profits. We can help yours too.
More Non-Profit Fundraising Ideas
Non-profit organizations are constantly looking for creative fundraising methods. Since non-profits rely on outside fundraising and revenue sources, a single fundraising campaign can make or break or organization.
With that in mind, here are some of the best non-profit fundraising ideas:
Host a charity dinner: Charity dinners are always a hit – especially if you give guests a good reason to attend. Sure, hosting a nice dinner is fun, but to make the event even more entertaining, considering asking a celebrity to host the event. Or, contact a band, a comedian, a magician, or someone else to entertain the crowd. If you want to increase the fundraising potential of your event, you can also host an auction or raffle draw during the dinner.
Launch a sports tournament: Competition is human nature. Launch a sports tournament – like a three on three basketball tourney – and charge teams an entry fee. Ask the community to sponsor some top prizes for the winners or provide the prizes yourself. This is an excellent opportunity to talk to local companies for sponsorship opportunities. At events like this, lots of pictures will be taken and most companies would be thrilled to have their brand associated with something as positive as a basketball tournament. Whether it’s soccer, hockey, football, or basketball, there are plenty of sports tournament opportunities available to unleash the competitive spirit – and charitable nature – of participants.
Talk to companies and businesses for sponsorship opportunities: Many for-profit companies are happy to sponsor non-profit organizations. Some companies do this purely out of the goodness of their hearts, but most companies also appreciate the positive publicity. Talk to local companies and businesses to work out a sponsorship deal.
Use affinity group fundraising: Affinity group fundraising is one of the most popular ways for non-profit organizations to continue operating on a long-term basis. Affinity groups consist of a network of people with an ‘affinity’ for a common cause. Put together a network of people with common interests and goals and use that group to raise money. In many cases, affinity groups can grow virally, with existing members inviting new members to join. The end result is long-term hands-free fundraising support for your organization.
